Rayakottah is a hill fort, situated 30 km from Hosur, marking the border of the Palakkad plateau. The British used this fort as the center of action during the Mysore War. The ramparts and the bastions of the fort are more or less intact. Now the fort is preserved as a monument. Tippu Sultan Fort
