The Electronic Zone at GMR Krishnagiri SIR is being planned over an area of 527 acres and is being developed under the Modified – Special Incentive Package (M-SIP) scheme of Government of India. The GKSIR Electronic Zone has been approved by the Department of Electronics (DeitY), Government of India. Apart from investment subsidy of up to 25% from GoI, various central and state tax benefits are available for units within the EMC.
The Electronic Zone has been planned as an integrated ecosystem and will accommodate manufacturing and other activities like R&D, incubation, training etc.
