1189th US Army Transportation Terminal Brigade

Located in North Charleston, SC, the 1189th US Army Transportation Terminal Brigade has command and control over more than 12 units and 700 Soldiers in the eight southeast states that make up the 81st Regional Readiness Command.

The 1189th Transportation Terminal Brigade is a Reserve unit in Charleston SC. The mission of the RC of all services is to provide trained, well-equipped units and individuals for active duty in time of war, national emergency, or at such times as the national security requires. The Army National Guard (ARNG) and the United States Army Reserve (USAR) constitute the RC of the Total Force of the United States Army.
