  • K.Uppalapadu has a history of political leadership in the region and always a first mover in introducing various new technologies(Products) to the people in and around the village(First radio then Tape recorders, then TV sets.).Currently it has all the necessary infrastructure that a modern civilization needs(Bank,Post office,Telephone exchange,1 private school,1 elementary school ,1 high school,various experienced people practicing in medicine and new power station that can assure electricity supply for 24 hours,beautiful newly constructed temple). It still does not have a reasonably good hospital yet. The village also has several adventurous people willing to take risk. It is exactly this reason why it has successful private school (papa rao public school) here. It is also because of these risk taking people we have several individuals taking big risks in farming ,real estate,construction and actually becoming successful. Most of the households in this village have deep respect for education for generations.As a result ,the village produced several successful people in IT. It is a home of several individuals who are successful in various fields but settled across India and also in foreign countries. One of the best thing about the village is streets are clearly straight,unlike other village where streets take abrupt turns. This makes it easy to see the people ahead,navigate easily and also drain the rain water quickly(Water moves fast if it is going straight).That is the good part of it. The bad part is politics are taking toll on several groups and dividing them further and making relationships bad. It is such a tragedy that this had to happen. Also the bad part is hygiene(This is the problem everywhere).It would be wonderful if we have some resources educating every house hold about basic hygiene. If that happens ,we can eliminate some of the basic health issues like typhoid,malaria.
