This 'bald' (a rocky, treeless area) on the top of Kittatinny Ridge has stunning views of pastoral Sussex County. It lies alont the AT, and can also be reached via the Acropolis Road (ped only) from rt. 206. It's polite to make some noise as you come out of the trees, to give some warning of your approach -- this bald is a popular trysting spot for the locals, who are more friendly if they've been given a chance to cover up.
