This old building used to be a cinema/theater. When the cinema was no longer profitable, the place was rented out to San Miguel Brewery who had its first Biliran warehouse here. After the beverage company, a copra dealer made the warehouse its buying station. Before being presently rented and occupied by Prince Marketing (of the Prince Warehouse Club fame--and probably of the same parent company) a car repair shop used to operate out of the place.

The building and the land is registered in the name of former sea captain Arturo Velasquez, father of current town mayor Susan Parilla, who is fondly called "Capt" (constriction for captain) in and around town.
