Ambala Parambu is the ground of Varikasseri Temple. Children use to lpay various outdoor games like Football and Cricket etc in this straight ground. Older people use to sit and relax on the ground enjoying the earthly smooth breeze from West in evening. People will stop their activities and stand facing the diety with folded hands during the time of "Nada Turappu" or temple opening and "Deeparadhana" or worshipping of diety with oil lamps at evening time.
