Former Townsite of the Village of Kemano
Previously housed the families of the workers of the Alcan Powerhouse which provides aprox. 900 Megawatts of cheap electricity to the Alcan Aluminum Smelter located in Kitimat, BC. The Powerhouse is still in operations deep inside Mount Debose which overlooks the remains of the townsite.
