orphanage, apartment building
One of the original Muller Orphanage Homes, Number 3, this Grade II listed building was bought by Charles Church development company and converted into 66 two and three bedroom apartments.
Originally built as an orphanage by George Muller in the 1840’s, Muller House closed in 1958 and the buildings became part of Bristol College of Science & Technology.
More recently the buildings, built from grey Pennant stone dressed with freestone, have stood empty prior to their conversion into high specification executive apartments, as part of a larger development in the area by Charles Church.
The scheme was completed and successfully handed over in the Spring of 2007.
