Funar tower called Tower Frangherilor was mentioned for the first time in documents in 1416.
The building has a hexagonal shape and about 10 - 12m in height. Funar Tower Brasov was provided with a series of shooting holes for moving parts. Later they were built of brick accuracy, which can still be seen today.
Between 1461 and 1689 Tower Brasov Funar was filled with fire, destroying a good part of last page architecture.
