  • SHAH ALAM, Feb 25 (Bernama) -- Selangor Cyber Valley which is developed by the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) is poised to be transformed into a smart, green and sustainable development valued at RM16.9 billion. PKNS General Manager Azlan Md Alifiah said Selangor Cyber Valley previously known as Selangor Science Park 2 (SSP2) was capable of becoming an integrated urban growth centre while retaining its harmonious, comfortable landscape and commercial value. "PKNS will also provide 2,256 units of Selangorku houses in stages beginning next year," he said at the SSP2 rebranding as Selangor Cyber Valley, here today at the ceremony launched by Selangor Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali. Selangor Cyber Valley, the eleventh urban centre built by PKNS, would be built on a 1,300 acre site in the Sepang District and the development implementation is estimated to take 20 years. Azlan said the urban centre would be equipped with high-speed broadband service for commercial and residential use in line with its urban development concept which emphasizes on work-live-play. At the event PKNS also signed a sale-and-purchase agreement with Brainy Bunch Islamic Montessori to build an integrated religious school on a five-acre site. -- BERNAMA
