Birbhanji consider as the leader of sadh mat.During Aurangzeb's rein, the religious sect Satnamis revolted against Aurangzeb's envoy in Narnaul. The rebellion grew so severe that the emperor himself came down to quash the revolt. Some time later, the Nawab of Narnaul, Taherbeg, kidnapped a Hindu Satnamis Girl. The Satnamis then fought with the Nawab Taherbeg and killed him.
