  • It is the epicenter of many other small villages closeby. It is known for excellent school. It has grown considerably in the recent past. People from different castes used to get along very well in this village. Now, there seems to small rifts. We hope that it gets resolved sooner. Each year, during the Sowdambigai Amman Pongal festival, people who moved out of village for jobs and other reasons come back and celebrate it in a very grand way. I am proud as a son of this village.
