The monument is a full body statue of Dr. Jose P. Rizal standing while holding a book on the left. It is a symbolical tribute to a hero in his supreme sacrifice for the Filipino people. The statue is etched with symbolic meanings.

The statue is 22 feet tall standing on a 2.8-meter high podium. It is presently the tallest Rizal statue in the world. The height of 22 feet stands for the 22 languages that Rizal had mastered.

It was erected through the coordination between the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) and the Calamba local government.
There are 2 markers, a National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) marker with its inscription in Filipino & all in capital letters, and a Calamba City ("Lungsod ng Calamba") marker with its inscription in English.

History:
Dec 2010 Started design and crafting of the statue.
June 19, 2011 President Benigno Aquino III led the nationwide commemoration of Dr. Jose P. Rizal's 150th Birth Anniversary at Calamba City, Laguna where he unveiled the tallest statue of Rizal.
