In April 2011, Taylor Morrison Homes offers 10 different models of new construction homes. Base prices of these new construction homes range from $350,900 to $434,990. These homes provide owners with from 2,655 sq. ft. to 3,857 sq. ft. of living space in one- or two-story homes.

This neighborhood features a mixture of upscale Texas stone and stucco, four-side masonry homes. The list of standard features included in these homes (too many to list) is definitely impressive! Fencing of homesites is optional, but no wood fences are allowed. The site plan for the Brodie Springs subdivision includes a total of 114 homes.

Builder Grand Haven Homes, which built a number of the homes in Brodie Springs, is no longer active in the community.

Brodie Springs has large, mostly wooded lots and greenbelt areas that are set aside for the enjoyment of residents and the beautification of the subdivision. Phase 2 of the development (now in progress) includes over 26 acres of nature preserve. It is a well-laid out and highly attractive community, marked by lots of trees and green areas.

Brodie Springs is close to a number of shopping, eating and entertainment places, including the Shady Hollow Village center at Brodie and W. Slaughter Lane, and the new Southpark Meadows center at I-35 and W. Slaughter. It is near several parks along and near the W. Slaughter corridor, area golf courses like Grey Rock and Plum Creek, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and the Veloway, a track for rollerblading and bicycling enthusiasts.

The Brodie Springs HOA currently has dues of $450/year. Homeowners are required to belong to the HOA. The association is managed by Southwest Management Services (512-266-6771).
