Used to be the main location for Grimes Aircraft Lighting Company.

The rotating beacon for the airport is on the roof of the hangar. It used to be one of the massive old Westinghouse models and could be seen for 60 miles in any direction by aircraft on clear nights. It was recently replaced by a newer, more energy efficient model that makes the field much harder to see.
