The Latta Branch Greenbelt is a large 66.75 acre trail system located within the Villages at Western Oaks. The trail has multiple trailheads, including one located just across Dick Nichols and one near DavisPlace. There have been many treehouses built in the forest, and they have appeared on editorials in local newspapers. Latta Branch is a small creek that is a tributary of Williamson Creek and contributes to much of the life in the greenbelt.
