The area you have labled as The Satte Bank Of India College was known as Carnatic Gardens ,and consisted of 10 houses. Namely Buckingham Mill(Spinning & DyeHouse,Central Ware House,cotton godown,Central Power Station) in the east side of otteri Nullah river and Carnatic Mill(Spinning,Doubling,weaving preparatory,Managers & Admt block,Cotton godowns) in the North West Side and New Mill(Weaving) in the South west side Binny mill was called Buckingham and Carnatic Mills.one of the largest textile mills in Asia. it had almost 1lakh spindle capacity spinning mill and 1500 looms in one shed including Jacqard weaving, The Dye House used to process cloth at the rate of 2lakh linear meters cloth per day. British people supplied Uniforms to Allied Army during II world war from this mills. Queen Elizabath royal family visited this mills once.
