It was shipyard on this location since 1675 and the current site structure belongs to the middle of 19th century and was implemented by the former owner - A.J. Otto & Sons. This company closed in 1910 and the complex was taken over by
van Duijvendijk family.  They sold their business in 2004 and the old workshop in this area was closed.

Now this place is planned for redevelopment
