  • El Fedran Rly cum Road bridge is a Swivel type. The bridge is split at the middle when a large ship is required to pass. The traffic on the bridge is stopped temporaryly. The bridge is then split in the middle and each half swings through 90 degrees and stayes at each bank of the river opening the canal to pass large vessels.
