The five-story pastoral center has been the administrative hub of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh since 1957. In 2011, the Diocese placed the building up for sale as part of a plan to relocate to the Saint Paul Seminary campus off Noblestown Road in Westwood.
