It is a panchath head quarter, Under this panchath Mopur palli and part of Chinna pandur comes. 90% of people are depending on cultivation. When compared with many villages it for better in literacy. In recent days some persons are working in Sri city SEZ, and leather factory APACHI which is situated near Mambattu of Sullur Pet region.
