Jenny Lind Lake was on a tributary of Ohio River in Clark County, Indiana
(Jenny Lind Run) and used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1950.
It had a normal surface area of 10.3 acres. Owned by U.S. Department Of Defense.

Jenny Lind Lake Dam was of earthen construction. Its height was 20 feet
with a length of 356 feet. Maximum discharge was 30 cubic feet per second.
Its capacity was 130 acre feet. It drained an area of 1.82 square miles.

The earthen dam failed in March 1997 as a result of a precipitation event and
subsequent flooding of the Ohio River, causing the complete draining of the lake.
