This installation by artist Lorraine Vullo is intended as a memorial to the people who died during the Homestead Steel Strike of 1892. Most of the triangular stones on the perimeter are engraved with the name of a Western Pennsylvania steel mill, foundry or blast furnace. The labyrinth has the same path arrangement as the one on the floor of the cathedral in Chartres, France.
