Missile launch site of the Fairchild Defense Area Nike Site F-07, "A" Battery (Craig Road). This site was partnered with the F-07 radar control installation (Newkirk Road) to the northeast.
Built to provide air defense for Fairchild Air Force Base. Staffed by the 43rd Artillery, 1st Missile Battalion of the US Army under Tactical Air Command with headquarters at Geiger Field. It was in operation from 1957 to 1961 whereupon it was decommissioned.
Today, there is a Teen Challenge facility on the property.
