The Ten Commandments set

Cecil B. Demille's original version of the Ten Commandments was filmed here in 1923.

You can walk the dunes and find pieces and chunks of Plaster of Paris left where they just tipped the sets over and buried them in the sand....Nice pieces to take home with you.

  • I believe this place mark is way off - this is the off-road driving area. The set is buried in a protected area to the south along Main Street.
