S.C. TURSIB S.A. - is the local public transportation company in Sibiu, its unique shareholder being the Local Council of the City of Sibiu.
S.C. TURSIB S.A - is member of the Federation of Urban, Suburban and Metropolitan Passenger Transportation.
Currently, Tursib is providing local transportation services for a population of: 200000 inhabitants, covering a surface of 121 square km.

The transportation plan is organised on 23 routes, as follows:
Main routes: 1, 2, 5 which run with a frequency of 10 minutes during peak hours;
Secondary routes: 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 which run with a frequency of 20 minutes at peak hours;
Professional routes: 111, 112, 113, 114, 115, 116, 117, 118, which mainly serve economic agents in industrial areas;
Tourist route: 22, which runs between Sibiu and Păltiniş.
The company owns a fleet of 111 buses, which completes daily over 17,600 km carrying on average over 109,000 passengers daily.
The Tursib buses stop in 260 stations, where panels with the transit times of each bus are displayed. The stations are managed by the City Hall of Sibiu.
