Lo-oc Basketball Court (Isabel, Leyte)

This is a reclaimed portion of Lo-oc Beach that now serves as the center for recreation as well as a multi purpose area! This Court is built with sea stones gathered by the residents decades ago. Ironically this place is really not intended for a basketball court as it was originally intended as a drying area for coconut farmers and a place for dancing (Bayle) for the visiting fishermen. Now, this area continues to serve the farmers as its primary coconut drying area during daytime when the sun is at its brightest, and a basketball court during the afternoon as the sun started to set!
