Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), interlocking, historical layer / disappeared object, railway junction
Diamond crossing between the Reading Company's New York Division (SEPTA West Trenton line) and Newtown Branch (SEPTA Fox Chase line). SEPTA "temporarily suspended" service north of Fox Chase on the Newtown Line in 1983 as a result of their mishandling of the Budd-Built Rail-Diesel-Cars (RDCs) they inherited from the Reading that served the non-electrified portion of the line north of Fox Chase.
The diamond crossing was removed in the late 1990s.
