  • This is a beautiful memorial to the brave people, many of whom died when the AIDS epidemic first hit when there were no treatments - I knew some of them in the '80s. I honor their quiet courage. Key West was a supportive and loving environment, there were many doctors, patients, carers, writers and pastors who were complete heroes at that time, I feel privileged to have been there..
