USCG Station Channel Islands is a small boat station in the US Coast Guard's 11th District, Sector Los Angeles/Long Beach. Serving as the homeport for the Cutter USCGC Blacktip (WPB-87326), the station also utilizes 47ft Motor Lifeboats, 25ft Defender Class Boats and 41ft Utility Boats to accomplish its missions of Search and Rescue, Enforcement of Laws and Treaties, Protection of Marine Fisheries and Mammals, Maritime Homeland Security and National Defense.
