Built in 1850. Rev. Richard Pollard was a British Loyalist from Detroit. He served many rols in Essex County such as: Sheriff of Essex/Kent, Registar of Essex/Kent, Registar of Surrogate Court, Sheriff of the Western District,Judge of the Surrogate Court, Anglican decon, and Preist.
The only site that remains in his name is this little brick house, one room in depth on a timber sill layed directly on bare earth.
