An ancient Shiva temple, more than 1000 years old, with Square avudayar (linga base); The round avudayars are normally the lingams installed by kings and humans whereas the square avudayars are the lingams installed by rishis and sages and so they are very ancient and considered very sacred.Also the lingams changes colours now and then; No clear time period when they will change colour.
