This village is younger to Vatvarlapalle and elder to KudiChintalaBailu in its age and origin.I guess, after the great damage done by the invading moslems, it was first re-inhabited and used as a seasonal camp by the British Officer with their Chenchu loyalists during hunting expeditions and thus "Saarla"(Sirs')"Palle"(village)..The ancient Hanuman still gaurding the way to Mallelateertham as he did for thousands of years. This is the last electrified village on ur way to MallelaTeertham, as of now.The irony is that the very forest gaurds at the toll-gate of this village go gaming in the jungle for big animals, not just to eat but chiefly to sell..Malliah MahaaDevaraa, say enough is enough.
