Three storey tavern originally known as the Exchange Hotel. A two storey hotel was constructed on the site in 1903 with a third storey added in 1906. Around 1930 the name was changed to the Victoria Hotel. It was at the Exchange Hotel that Henry Ford, Gordon MacGregor and Charles and John Stodgell signed documents which lead to the founding of the Ford Motor Co. of Canada.
