This place was originally an entertainment site and small amusement park. The cable railway can still be seen but is out of service.
It was then turned into Amman's largest car rental place with more than 50 offices of local and international brands. After several attempts by the government since 2008 to evict the car rental offices, the space was finally vacated by its tenants in 2017.
