The modular terminal building has 220,000 sft of space and three aerobridges. It has a capacity to handle 800 passengers each way, per hour. The Construction began in Feb 2007 and the Terminal 3 was dedicated to the nation by the Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh on Feb 12, 2011. The cost of the project is estimated to be Rs 258 Crores.
