Angelohori, or Aggelohori, is a small fishing village 30 kilometers (18.64 miles) south of Thessaloniki and three kilometers (1.86 miles) north of Nea Michaniona. The seaside town provides views of Thessaloniki as well as Mount Olympus and the town of Katerini across the Thermaic Gulf. The towns major attractions are its lighthouse and fortress, which was built by the German army in 1944.
