Village in the picturesque Qu'Appelle Valley, population 274 (2006 census). Named after the Earl of Craven, the village is best known for being the host of the Craven Country Jamboree country music festival.
The original festival was called the Big Valley Jamboree. A successor event, the Kinsmen Rock'N the Valley rock music festival, ran until 2004. The country music format was revived in 2005.
