Three golden plaques were found in Area C at Pyrgi, a port city for the Etruscan city of Caere (Cerveteri). The plaques were a dedication from the king of Caere to the Goddess Uni (Juno) and were helpful in deciphering the Etruscan language, as two of the plaques were written in Etruscan and one in an imperfect translation to Phoenician.
