The Beach: "Bare Bottom" has no signs but is easy to find. It's the first turn north of the Highway 84--Highway 1 intersection. A road leads through a grassy field to the cliff where a nice man and three sweet dogs will be waiting. The charge is $5 per car. The beach is open weekends from 9 to sunset, week days from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Rules help to maintain a non threatening atmosphere. No fires, no cameras, no binoculars, no sexual or lewd behavior.
