Taman TAR (also known as Taman Tun Abdul Razak) is an affluent and elite residential estate nestled on the hillside of Ampang. It is surrounded by established neighborhoods such as Ampang Jaya and Ukay Heights.

The neighbourhood Taman TAR consists of condominiums, 2- and 3-storey terraces and bungalows. Besides that, there are 3 condominiums nestled in the enclave, namely Menara Indah, Menara Impian and Menara Mutiara. Most of the residents here are high-profile politicians, businessmen, top CEOs and expatriates. This can be evidenced by the number of Bentleys, Ferraris, Hummer and Porches hovering around the enclave.

Taman TAR is well-served by established amenities that include international schools, golf course et cetera. Right at the heart of the enclave, there is Kelab Darul Ehsan (KDE), an established and old golf club. Besides that, there are 2 international schools named International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL) and Mutiara International Grammar School located just about 2 kilometres from the neighborhood. Plus, Sri Inai KL is about 15 minutes drive away.
