  • I attended Elphinstone College from 1954-1956 and completed my Intermediate Science Courses. I then attended the sister institution - Institute of Science where I completed my B.Sc.(Hons) in Chemistry & Physics. I have pleasant memories of my attendence at both colleges.
  • Hi, I am Elphinstonian and very much proud of it, as it is one of the renowned colleges in India. I finished my Grads in German language from this College in 2005. It has a beautiful gothic architecture and I had fallen in Love with the building when I first visited it during my admissions at the college. I owe everything I am now to my college. And I still drop by to say Hello to my beloved Professors and the staff.

  • I am an Ex-Elphinstonian. I did my Graduation in Economics and Statisticl Methods with Honours in the year 1964. I am proud to have studied in this Great Institution having Glorious past. We were feeling proud as Students of this College which had great luminaries in various fields as its past-students. The College was very rightly used to be called the 'Indian Oxford 'College.Even now also it is so. Whenever I happen to pass through the College Bldg., I always halt for sometime and have 'Darshan' of this 'Great Temple' expressing my deep gratitude to My College saying to myself that whatever success I attained in my Career and personal life is largely attributable to my having had my College Education in this Great Institution. I have been a successful Bank Officer, now retired but still blessed with some work with a CA firm. I sincerely pray, the College should ever remain what it had been in the past.

  • I am proud to be an Elphinstonian. I studied at Elphinstone College during 1972 through 1974, prior to joining RIS (or Institute of Science) next door. My two older brothers also went to Elphinstone, because it has always been the BEST college in Mumbai. Elphinstone College gave us an excellent education, and a great experience of social interactions....wonderful place for Liberal Arts and Science studies alike in Mumbai. Keep it up, Elphinstone!!!
