Formerly known as SM Cubao. One of the oldest malls of SM chain of shopping malls in the country.

Shoemart marked its shift from a shoe store to a full department store, in the 1970s. They were SM Quiapo in Echague (now Carlos Palanca St.) in 1972, SM Makati in 1975, SM Cubao (now SM Araneta City) in 1978.
