  • The basic design of this fountain was copied by Gréber from a fountain, created in the early 1700s, for the Pont des Belle Fontaines (Bridge of the Beautiful Fountains) in the town of Juvisy-sur-Orges, France. It, like many other aspects of the Whitemarsh Hall landscaping, has close ties to the time of Louis XIV.
