One of the original "Works Progress" projects during the depression. 1935.
A major stadium used for a variety of events including professional sports, concerts, and other major events. Home of the Capitol One Bowl, and The Florida Classic. The stadium hosted Wrestemania in 2008 and 2017 (x33) and several matches of the 1994 FIFA World Cup.

The stadium will be extensively renovated as part of a tri-venue package that will also include the new Orlando Events Center arena and the new Dr. P. Phillips Performing Arts Center. The project was approved in 2007 by local governments, a completion date for the stadium project has not yet been set.

  • It's in the middle of what seems to be the most crime ridden part of Orlando. If anything the city of Orlando should remove it and build another one somewhere else in a better neighborhood or fix the neighborhood around it.
