Interlocking on the former New Haven Railroad main line. Removed at some point in the 1980's due to a perceived lack of necessity, but later rebuilt by Metro North between 2005 and 2010 about 1 mile to the east. Interlocking consists of a 4-track full crossover with every turnout being of the 80mph high speed variety which is the reason for its extreme length.
