Tin Hall, located at 14800 Tin Hall Road in the unincorporated community of Cypress is one of the oldest continually operating dance halls in Texas.
The original hall was built on Huffmeister Road in 1878, but was destroyed by a fire a few years later. Settlers soon rebuilt it with the financial support of the Cypress Gun and Rifle Club, this time using corrugated tin. More than a century later, it is still a popular venue for live entertainment.
