This is an open airstrip, perhaps the only one in the district. Suitable only for small aircrafts and helicopters. Basic facilities like fuel, power, etc. are not available.It's an uneven grassfield, almost all corners of which are either common pastures or cricket pitches for the local lads. Mostly used by the helicopters of the politicians visiting during election campaigns.

It's technically within Ulao village, but is closer to the Singhaul Pokhar, a well-known pond, just off the National Highway - 31 (NH - 31). It is less than 500 m from the Highway, and is about 4.5 km from Begusarai, the district headquarter and about 8 km from Barauni, an important junction of the Indian Railways. Indian Oil's Barauni unit is roughly 6.5 km.
