Woolridge Island (49°31'N., 123°27'W.) lies in the channel opposite the port. Latona Passage, a deep channel, leads between this island and Gambier Island. Shorelines on the west and south side are usually occupied with log booms. In the south bay you get a great view of Keats Island and shelter from most weather. The east side offers good anchorage with shelter.
